I started my path in education since 2001, as a tutor and after school teacher at private academies while I was studying at UCLA. In 2005, I graduated from UCLA with a Psychology Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Korean. In 2007, I enrolled into the credential program at CSUN and received a single subject credential in Mathematics and multiple subjects credential with a BCLAD (Bilingual Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development) emphasis in Korean. I was a student teacher at Nobel Middle School for 7th grade in Northridge and Fairfax High School for Algebra 1 (9th – 12th grades). After I received my credentials, I had many opportunities to work at Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD) as a long-term substitute for many subjects and grades. While working at HLPUSD, I was also given opportunities to work as a Mathematics Interventionist/Specialist.I started my path in education since 2001, as a tutor and after school teacher at private academies while I was studying at UCLA.
